It depends on the shipping method of your package. The total delivery time may take 6-8 business days.
All of the filters will hit a stop point once they are tightly installed. As long as you install the filter by hand (without using any tools), you should feel the filter reach the stop point when it is properly installed. Most of the filters reach the stop point after only a quarter or a half turn. However, the GE MWF unit requires a firmer turn to properly seal the o-ring, so do not hesitate to turn the filter a little harder.

There is a tracking number in your shipping confirmation E-mail. You can track your package online any time. Or you can contact our customer support team to track it for you.
Once you receive your tracking information, please allow 24-48 hours for shipping information to populate. For more questions on where your package is, we recommend reaching out to the shipper directly with your tracking information as they will have a better understanding of where your package is.
For the most part, side-by-side refrigerator models contain some type of built-in water dispenser and icemaker with a filter. If your refrigerator is not side-by-side, we recommend checking in the following places for a filter:
- Inside of the refrigerator - Look for a cylinder filter canister hanging down from the top of the refrigerator (filter will generally be found in the top-right corner).
- Inside of the refrigerator - The filter may drop down or slide out of the ceiling compartment of the refrigerator.
- Bottom of the refrigerator - The filter may be located in the front grille at the bottom of the refrigerator.
Generally, a filter will last for 3-6 months depending on your local water quality. People who live in the Northeast or with worse water quality may change filter every 1-2 months.

We suggest that you can check the label inside your refrigerator. It’ll tell your model number. You can simply put in that number into the search box of our store. Then you will find one. Or you can contact our customer support team to check it for you.
